EXCLUSIVE: Nigeria’s WebSoft Unveils Android-Powered Tablet, Vantium

Websoft, a leading premium domain name registration and web design company has unveiled a tablet PC device powered by Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread).

The tablet called Vantium has a 9.7-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen with multi-touch display capacitive screen IPS Technology and a 1024-by-768-pixel resolution. With a memory capacity of 1GB (RAM) and 16GB (ROM), the tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz Free Scale processor.

With its 3G capacity, the device is expected to allow you use your SIM card to access the Internet. You can also create/edit/view Microsoft documents on the go with the device.

Websoft’s Vantium tablet device currently retails for N80,000 ($499) and is available for pre-order until January 15th.
