Nokia launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Lumia 920, in South Africa on Friday, according to local media.
The smartphone, which is the most powerful, feature-rich Windows phone ever is now on sale and available from Vodacom and MTN, while Cell C and 8ta subscribers would have to wait till the end of the year.
One of the killer features of the device is the revolutionary PureView camera technology with Carl Zeiss lens and Optical Image Stablisation which captures blur-free photos and videos even if the camera’s shaking or in low light.
The Lumia 920 is expected to be sold at a retail price of about R8 000 in South Africa.
The device will be launched in Nigeria next week Tuesday and there are speculations that it would be sold for about N150,000.
