BREAKING: iROKING Hits One Million Music Downloads

Just about two months since it launched its mobile music download service, iROKING has today announced via its Twitter page that it has crossed one million music downloads on its mobile site.

The new mobile site allows users to download music from over 35,000 tracks currently available on the service, listen to them and make playlists directly on their own mobile devices offline.

iROKING which launched in January 2012 as a music streaming service like Spotify, is in direct competition with Spinlet, which allows music track and album downloads, although for a small fee.

Since launch, iROKING boasts over 400 recording artists including Bez, 2Face, Bracket, Flavour, Omawumi, Timaya and Iyanya with more than 35,000 tracks in its catalogue.

In August 2012, iROKING crossed 100,000 registered users.
