Etisalat Nigeria Chairman, Hakeem Belo-Osagie Covers Forbes Africa February 2013 Edition
Hakeem Belo-Osagie, a Harvard-trained petroleum economist who chairs the Nigerian operations of United Arab Emirates-based telecom provider Etisalat has been featured on the cover the February 2013 edition of Forbes Africa.
In the special cover feature which goes on sale from tomorrow, Belo-Osagie who is one of Africa’s 40 most richest people discusses how failure helped him.
Belo-Osagie, 58, who has a net worth of $400 million as of November 2012, according to Forbes is said to be one of the largest donors to the African Leadership Academy, a residential secondary institution in Johannesburg, South Africa, which trains Africa’s brightest students for a future of leadership.
Through his holding companies, Premium Telecommunications Holdings and MyaCynth, he controls a 12.5% stake in Etisalat Nigeria.
