Exactly three months since Rocket Internet-backed online food delivery service, HelloFood launched in Lagos, Nigeria, it now claims to have over 100 restaurants available to serve its hungry customers.

When it launched, it had more than 30 restaurants signed up mainly in the Ikeja, Ikoyi, Lekki and Victoria Island areas of Lagos, but now claim that there are very few restaurants within the islands or deep into the mainland that are not already taking orders from its customers.

With huge aspirations to spread across Africa, the service which claims to be the world’s best food delivery platform has added five more cities including Accra (Ghana), Nairobi (Kenya), Dakar (Senegal), Abidjan (Ivory Coast) and Casablanca (Morocco) with sites already taking orders from restaurants in those cities.

While it already has a mobile site, the company is also planning to launch its iPhone and Android apps to make it easier for people to order their food even on the go.
