SWIFT Networks’ Self-Service Portal Goes Down
The self-service portal of SWIFT Networks, one of the leading broadband providers in Nigeria suffered a downtime on Monday which has affected access to certain online services.
The downtime which occurred early Monday afternoon would make services such as online payment, new set-up modems, voucher payments and service plan changes impossible.
In a statement, the company said that its technical support team “is working to resolve this and the estimated time is 5pm today.” Although the company said that online payments could be made via Interswitch’s Quickteller website, we recommend that customers wait until the portal is restored.
SWIFT has experienced Internet service disruptions in the past in some areas, although this particular downtime doesn’t affect Internet services.
