Fueled With New Funding, Gaming Start-up KULUYA Set To Launch A Hybrid Commerce Platform
African casual gaming start-up, KULUYA is set to launch a hybrid commerce platform that would allow its growing players to make money through competitive cash games.
Techloy exclusively learnt that the investment would be used to expand the gaming company’s commercial activities which would enable its users to challenge each other, make bets, and make money through competitive cash games.
With the launch of its new platform dubbed KULUYA 2.0, the company sees a shift from advertising play to a hybrid commerce platform that takes African gaming to the next level.
With a team of about 10, KULUYA has developed and launched 55 casual games and five mobile games since inception. Its popular My Oga @ the Top game, which was released in mid-March, was reportedly played 60,000 times within the first 72 hours.
