Since 2009, tens of thousands of creative projects — big and small — all around the world have been brought to life through the support of crowd-funding platform, Kickstarter.
With over 5.5 million people having pledged $951 million, funding 55,000 creative projects around the world, there’s no better place to pitch your projects for funding.
In Africa, almost 500 projects have made it to Kickstarter to date, while about half of these have been successfully funded directly or indirectly through the platform. From film to photography projects, several people have attempted to solve one problem or another in Africa through their projects.
