Join IBM, Techpreneur Africa and Andela to Hack Lagos Traffic

Traffic is one of the most challenging problem in Lagos.

I know this. You know this. IBM, Techpreneur Africa and Andela also know this and have taken a giant step to help find solutions to the nagging problem.

They are hoping to do this through Hack Lagos Traffic, a BIG Data Masterclass. The event will consist of a tutorial session followed by an interactive coding and design workshop.

It will also consist of short talks by successful entrepreneurs like Seun Onigbinde from Budgit, Confidence Odionye from BeatTraffik, and Dele Odufuye from Tsaboin.

During the event, attendees will learn to use Big Data and IBM Bluemix to build awesome solutions to traffic-related problems.

The event will take place on March 26, 2016 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Lagos State E-Learning Center in Lagos Island, Nigeria.

If you feel up to it, you should register to attend the event as soon as you can (26 is just around the corner). Tech heads can attend as well as entrepreneurs, marketers, designers and developers (don’t forget to come with your laptop…you’ll be getting your hands dirty)

The purpose of the event is to assemble, teach and inspire like-minded, socially responsible Nigerians as well as promote the concept of citizen-government partnership in solving key social issues.

The event is organized in partnership with the Lagos State Government, FCMB, the Releaf Group, MAX delivery, Accenture and Pulse Nigeria.
