When the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge were launched during the Mobile World Congress in January, they came in four colour variants – Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, White Pearl and Silver Titanium.
Samsung Electronics has announced another colour variant, Pink Gold, bringing the total available colours for the devices to five.
Why Pink Gold? Samsung said it is a natural colour that provides a sense of comfort. “The hues glitter and shimmer as if illuminated from inside their glass surfaces,” Samsung stated in a post.
In particular, the refined, skin tone-inspired Pink Gold colour scheme is intended to soothe and incorporate a touch of gentleness, radiance and sophistication to the smartphones’ design.
The Pink Gold variant of the devices will first debut in Korea on April 20, 2016. They will become available ‘soon’ for customers in select markets across the world.
