Abacus, a Kenyan startup that builds web and mobile software to help investors across the globe access African financial markets, is set to host a Financial Markets Training programme.
The programme – Abacus Money Academy – will provide participants a guide on how to invest in the different sectors of the market and what to look out for while doing so.
The training programme will have four main courses: Money 101: Introduction to Investments; Money 102: Stocks; Money 103: Bonds; and Money 104: Derivatives.
Each course in the training programme will run for 8 weeks and will be taught on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The programme will begin in June 2016 with each course costing KES 25,000. If you are interested, make sure you book by May 30, 2016.
Also, Abacus will offer an Introductory Class that will run for 8 weeks and will be taught on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.
This class will cost KES 10,000 only and will begin in May 2016. If you are interested, make sure you book by April 29, 2016.
The training programme is organized in partnership with Strathmore University, a chartered university based in Nairobi, Kenya.
