There are loads of entrepreneurs in Kenya who haven’t heard of MEST, a Ghana-based business incubator and accelerator, much less knowing how it runs its programs.
It is for this reason that MEST is organizing an Info Session to tell entrepreneurs how they can start their own software/tech companies through its programs.
During the Info Session, the entrepreneurs in attendance will learn about how MEST supports entrepreneurs pre-ideation and take them through a 1-year entrepreneurial training program in Ghana.
Furthermore, they’ll get to know how MEST mould the entrepreneurs into skilled developers, business people and how they get the chance to create a startup of their own, while also securing seed funding and a spot at 1 of its 5 incubators (Accra, Lagos, Nairobi, Cape Town, Johannesburg).
The Info Session will by one of its entrepreneurs, Wesley Kirinya who is also the CTO of Leti Arts.
The Session takes place on May 12, 2016 at Strathmore University in Nairobi from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Interested participants should register ASAP.
Since launch, MEST has trained over 200 Ghanaian and Nigerian entrepreneurs and has invested over US$15 million in its training program and incubator which has provided seed funding to over 20 startups.
Reminder: South African entrepreneurs interested in getting into MEST can still apply as applications closes on May 20, 2016.
