AOC, a global leader of HD display technology, has launched a new 24″ all-in-one PC that comes pre-installed with the Remix OS, a revolutionary desktop OS based on Android created by Beijing-based startup, Jide Technology.
The new PC (AIO) comes with a 24-inch, 1920 x 1080 display, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB or 64GB of storage.
It spots a pair of HDMI ports on the back, an ethernet jack and four USB ports, and is powered by a 64-bit, 2GHz, ARM Cortex A53 chip.
You might be forced to say the PC isn’t spectacular. Yeah…I know people now use devices that can be described as ‘galactically outta of this world’.
However, the Remix OS it runs on will definitely wow you. The OS is simply Android re-engineered for personal computers.
It comes with features that PC users are familiar with such as floating windows, keyboard and mouse support, a Start menu lookalike, and file manager, and so much more.
And the good part. Anyone can download the Remix OS and install it on their PC.
The PC, which is the very first to come pre-installed with the Remix OS, is targeted at China’s enterprise market. It will reportedly go on sale in the summer.
The partnership that births this new PC was announced at the CES Asia 2016 , which will run from May 11 to May 13, 2016 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
