CcHUB takes its #BuildForMyCity hackathon to Abuja

Lagos-based incubator and accelerator, Co-creation Hub (CcHUB) has announced it is taking its #BuildForMyCity hackathon to Nigeria’s capital, Abuja.

The hackathon is aimed at developing solutions that will improve the lives, in all ramifications, of residents of Abuja.

At the hackathon, submitted ideas, either by individuals or teams, will be rapidly developed into prototypes. These prototypes will be tested in the Federal Capital Territory.

#BuildForMyCity is open to web & mobile developers, UI/UX designers, graphic designers, project managers, digital marketing experts, marketing communication experts and business brains.

The hackathon will hold on May 27 – 29, 2016 at CcHUB’s recently launched re:learn center, which is housed in the TY Danjuma Foundation Building in Wuse 2, Abuja.

Update: Due to uavoidable circumstances, the date of the event was changed. It will now take place on June 10-12, 2016.

The first #BuildForMyCity hackathon was hosted in Lagos last year, giving participants the chance to develop web and mobile apps to tackle challenges faced by residents of Yaba and Surulere.
