iDEA Nigeria, a Lagos-based accelerator for techpreneurs, will host the Demo Africa Innovation Tour (West Africa Edition) today (May 26, 2016) from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at its Lagos hub.
The tour aims to bring together startups and technology industry players to look at ways through which innovations can be turned into sustainable business ventures.
Entrepreneurs from West Africa will get a chance to pitch to a panel of highly placed individuals in the technology sector.

“As part of our work, we are constantly on the lookout to helping entrepreneurs find and tweak their business models, while making them investment-ready. This may also include opportunities to break into new markets,” iDEA Nigeria stated in a post.
Now in its fifth season, DEMO Africa seeks 30 most innovative companies to launch their products and services in-front of investors, technology buyers and the media.
Its regional tours began in East Africa where over 30 startups have pitched their products. The tour will also be held in Northern and Southern Africa.
Demo Africa 2016 will take place at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa on August 25 – 26, 2016.
