Nigeria’s FirstBank is holding a Tech Conference, called “Let’s Talk Tech”at the Oriental Hotel in Lekki, Lagos today.
The conference is bringing over 50 technology entrepreneurs together to share ideas on the best ways of harnessing information and communications technology to lower operating costs and create new business opportunities within the economy.
“Let’s Talk Tech” will convene a panel of speakers comprising senior bank executives and other sector experts, to discuss and engage with the audience on wide ranging issues specific to the tech sector.
The first panel of speakers, chaired by Shina Badaru, Founder of Technology Times, features Akin Alabi, Founder of Nairabet, Chuma Ezirim, Head, E-Business at FirstBank, Ebi Atawodi, General Manager at Uber West Africa, Obinna Ekezie, Founder/MD of Wakanow.com and Chijioke Dozie, Co-founder/CEO of One Finance.
The second panel of speakers, chaired by Tunji Andrews, features Chika Nwobi, Founder of L5lab, Dipo Ogunbiyi, Head, Equity Capital Markets, FBN Capital, Lola Masha, Country Manager, OLX, Jason Njoku, Co-founder/CEO of iROKO Partners Limited and Bamky Baba, an SME advisor at the Enterprise Development Centre.
The conference forms part of the bank’s commitment to drive growth and develop capacity in the SME segment.
