CcHUB to organize open day for parents & kids at re:learn centre in Abuja

Co-creation Hub (CcHUB), a Lagos-based incubator and accelerator, has announced it will be organizing an open day for parents and their kids at its recently launched re:learn centre in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja.

The event is being organized with the sole purpose of giving both parents and kids a first-hand dive into the world of computer programming.

Aside the talks, demos ranging from computer animations, games and electronics will be available for the kids to try their hands on.

Also, there’ll be mini-projects for the kids to work through so their parents can see some of their creations ‘live and direct’.

The event is meant for kids irregardless of their age, experience and whether or not they have coded before. Registration is on!

June 25, 2016 is the date for the event and it will run from 11am to 3pm at re:learn centre, which is on the 1st floor of TY Danjuma Foundation Building in Abuja.

The re:learn centre, which is CcHUB’s first home outside of Lagos, is an open living lab focused on learning and smart application of technology in schools.

Through a combination of projects targeted at research and learning, re:learn centre will bridge the education gap by enhancing learning experience in schools.
