Mobile services provider, Kirusa launches free airtime app for Android users in Nigeria

Kirusa, a US-based global leader in providing telecom and social media solutions, has announced the launch of a free airtime app for prepaid Android users in Nigeria.

Known as myGenie, the app lets Android users explore, download and use both new and popular Android apps and get rewarded with free airtime.

Users can use the free airtime to recharge their mobile numbers, or gift it to their friends and family.

The app also provides free airtime when a user invites their friends to the app, and when their friends start downloading apps via myGenie.

Apps that can be downloaded through myGenie range from games to
dating to local utility apps.

Some of the apps available on myGenie at the time of launch include InstaVoice, 474Recharge, Zamba Caller, APUS Launcher, Super B Clearer, BBM, UC Browser, et al.

“Our vision is to grow the mobile ecosystem, and to fuel entrepreneurship in Nigeria, by creating a platform for the local app developers to reach out to their customers in a seamless manner, by assisting them in their app promotion efforts,” said Inderpal Singh Mumick, CEO of Kirusa.

App developers in Nigeria can also use myGenie to target users for app downloads. Through myGenie, they can reach out to a wider audience and get assured usage of their apps.

Developers interested in promoting their apps on the myGenie platform should contact for more information.

myGenie is available as a free download on the Google Play store. It is currently available to Android mobile users in Nigeria and will be extended to other African countries soon.
