Lagos Comic Con, an event which brings together stakeholders in comics and other related artforms, is set to take place in Lagos this September.
The event celebrate the successes of practitioners in the Creative Industry sector, encourage broader participation and support the building of knowledge and capacity necessary to strengthen the sector and ultimately create jobs.
Previous editions of the event, which is said to be the only and major comic convention in the whole of West Africa, have been nothing short of amazing.
It brought together major players in the comics, animation, gaming, film and children/youth merchandising industry to showcase their goods and services to the rest of the world.
This year, the event promises to be even bigger and better with over 10,000 participants and vendors expected to be in attendance.
The event will feature a central stage for exhibition/sales, keynotes and panels, multiple rooms for workshops, master classes and presentations, and an area dedicated to co-working, networking and interactive installations.
Also, the event will be spiced up with a variety on condiments such as competitions, movie screenings, et al.
The event will provide participants the opportunity of meeting new friends and clients, buying the best for cheap, having the best creative fun and seeing the unimagined.
