Why BankIT? You know how difficult (if not impossible) it is to complete an online transaction if you forgot your bank card PIN. Or say for one reason or the the other, you couldn’t find your hardware token.
BankIT was designed with these problems, and more, in mind. With BankIT, you can make payments online and on mobile directly from your Bank account. No stress!
How does it work? BankIT is securely integrated with banks and allows customers to access their bank accounts via USSD or BankIT-powered platforms.
At the moment, ten of eTranzact’s partner-banks in Nigeria are currently integrated on the BankIT platform.
The solution is made for everyone: trader in Alaba setting up a website, a web hosting company selling to domain registrants, a payments gateway already deployed on merchant websites, an ecommerce website or as a direct consumer.
With BankIT, you can pay DSTV subscription directly from your bank account on USSD via *389*9*SMARTCARD NUMBER#, buy airtime directly via *444# and *805# on Airtel and Glo respectively or any network via the JustTopUp mobile app on the Google Play store, buy any mobile device online on Slot and many other partner platforms.

Through BankIT, eTranzact is aiming to eliminate paper, cash and card transactions altogether.
BankIT was actually launched by eTranzact last year, albeit quietly. At the time, it was only used for airtime purchases and has over 500,000 customers using it to date.
