YorubaName Is Hosting A Webinar For Developers On July 23

YorubaName, an online intervention to preserve and document all Yorùbá names, has announced it will be hosting a webinar for developers on July 23, 2016.

The purpose of the webinar is to let developers in on how the platform works so that they can contribute to its codebase, which was made available on GitHub back in May.

Specifically, the developers will get to know how the different parts of the app fit together, how to setup the app on a local machine, and how to get started writing code and contributing.

On hand to led the webinar is Dadepo ADÉRẸMÍ, who was one of the first volunteers to join the YorubaName team in early 2015.

As stated above, the webinar will hold on July 23. It will commence at 4pm prompt and last just 45 minutes. Registered participants will be sent a link to the webinar.
