Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB), a Lagos based accelerator and incubator, is organizing a digital security workshop on July 28, 2016.
The workshop is a prelude to the launch of Safe Online, a digital security guide for Nigerian civil society organization, journalists and active citizens.
At the workshop, the Safe Online project will be reviewed with the aim of finding ways to make it better. The workshop will take place at the CcHUB on the aforementioned date from 11.00 AM – 01.00 PM.
The workshop is open to staff and members of CSOs, journalists, owners of online platforms, active citizens and the general public. Registration can be done by clicking HERE.
The participants were asked to answer 10 questions in an online survey, which will help in creating a functional and effective guide.
Apparently, the NDSA (don’t mistake it for NSA) has metamorphosed into the soon-to-be-launched Safe Online.
Safe Online is funded by the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA), an organization that seek to promote inclusive democratic governance, transparent and accountable institutions and active citizenship in West Africa.
