ntel launches router to provide customers “a whole new Internet experience”

ntel, Nigeria’s most advanced 4G/LTE network provider, has announced the launch of a Router that it describes as the fastest in the country and that’ll provide customers a whole new Internet experience.

It is a ZTE MF286 Router that supports up to 64 concurrent Wi-Fi connections and 4 LAN ports connections.

Although similar in size to a traditional wireless router, the Router packs a lot of power.

It deliver speeds of up to 230 Mbps using the 4×2 MIMO technology, and operates on dual SSIDs 2.4 and 5GHz for better wall-penetration capabilities and lower interference respectively.

Also, it has a 3,000mAh battery which can last for 6 to 8 hours, and supports file sharing among users on the same Wi-Fi network via its USB port.

This is the ideal router for households as well as small and medium scale businesses and other organisations who require superfast internet service.  Our routers which are Cat 6 with 4 x 2 MiMo will not only guarantee superfast internet access but can serve up to 64 multiple users at the same time,” said Kamar Abass, CEO of ntel, in a press release made available to TechLoy.

That’s not all. The Router also supports gigabit wired connections so that it is possible to copy files over a LAN at a speed higher than 80 MB/s.

The Router packs power and beauty. It comes in an exclusive design with a main body enhanced with graceful curves to improve the visual effect and feel.

Subscribers who want to enjoy superfast Internet will need to purchase the Router (the price is unknown at the moment) alongside one of ntel’s unlimited data plans of N10,000/monthly; N3,000/weekly and N1,000/two days.

And there’s a fun part: ntel will be offering visitors to its stores an opportunity to experience its superfast Internet speed at three of its outlets in the two major cities where they have coverage – it’s all part of activities to mark the sale of the superfast routers.

The stores are 134, Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja; main lobby, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja and Alfred Rewane Road (Formerly Kingsway Road) opposite Ikoyi registry, Lagos.

“For data hungry Nigerians looking for superfast internet speeds up to 230mbps over a 4G/LTE connection, this is the device for them,” Abass added.
