Known as FERO, it comes in 16 different models, from entry-level feature phones through to sophisticated premium smartphones targeting the top end of the market.
The cheapest FERO devices will be priced at US$58 (€51.97) while its premium range of smartphones will cost US$180 and more.
Some of the devices are LTE compatible to enable the group cash in on growing deployments of the technology in Africa.
“We have been a distributor of all leading mobile phone brands in Africa for the last 13 years, so we already have an extensive network and partnerships in place for channel and distribution, catering to the major African markets,” said Mr. Akash Kumar, Managing Director, MiDCOM.
The full product range will now be on sale in Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda, Senegal and Togo.
The devices were designed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) but manufactured in China.
