HiiL announces semi-finalists for 2016 Innovating Justice Challenge

HiiL, a worldwide pioneer in building and scaling up innovative justice ecosystems, has unveiled the semi-finalists for the 2016 edition of its Innovating Justice Challenge.

The Innovating Justice Challenge is a competition that rewards justice entrepreneurs with the most promising innovations.

Some of the semifinalists were selected after garnering enough votes during the voting period while the others by HiiL in conjunction with local entrepreneurship experts.

The semifinalist, 27 in number, will now attend and pitch at a local Boostcamp in their region – Lagos, Nairobi, Tunis, Johannesburg, and Kampala.

By October, the HiiL Justice Accelerator team will select up to 10 innovations for the final round and pitch in The Hague in December 2016.

The winning entrepreneurs, selected by an international jury, will receive an Innovating Justice Award and share up to €160,000.
