Afrostream is now available on Orange TV

Afrostream, a subscription video on demand (SVOD) service, is now available on Orange TV, an on-demand video service owned by telecommunication giant, Orange.

Available on Orange TV in the Pass Vidéo section, Orange TV customers in mainland France with Livebox 4 or Livebox Play and their respective decoders will be able to enjoy Afrostream for €6.99 a month.

Afrostream offers unprecedented access to the best Afro-American, Caribbean and African content.

It offers hundreds of hours of unlimited programmes including films, series, documentaries, concerts and more. The videos are in HD, in French and in their original version with subtitles.

Orange TV customers who have subscribed to Afrostream will also have access to its content on tablets and mobiles.

Orange is enhancing its Pass Vidéo offer with Afrostream, and it intends to distribute the service more widely in other countries within the Orange Group’s footprint.

This new service is a new direction in both companies’ partnership that began back in 2015 via Orange Fab and strengthened through an investment by Orange Digital Ventures.

The partnership with Orange enabled Afrostream to accelerate the development of its innovative service in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and South America.
