Forbes Editor, Zack O’Malley Greenburg, to discuss the business of hip-hop at MEST’s Show & Tell

Zack O’Malley Greenburg, the Senior Editor of Media & Entertainment at Forbes, will be in Ghana to speak at MEST‘s Show & Tell, an event that takes place from time to time.

Zack, who has spent a decade at Forbes, is the author of two books: Michael Jackson, Inc and the Jay Z biography Empire State of Mind.

Zack has investigated topics from pension fund scandals to Wu-Tang Clan’s secret album, and has interviewed some of the biggest names in music, including 50 Cent, Justin Bieber, and Alicia Keys.

His work has also appeared in the Washington Post, Billboard, Sports Illustrated, McSweeney’s and Vibe; he’s served as an expert source for BBC,NPR, MTV, NY Times and 60 Minutes, and as a speaker at SXSW, TEDx, Georgetown, Harvard and Yale, his alma mater.

At the Show & Tell, he’ll be speaking on the business of hip-hop with focus on Jay Z, Diddy, and Dr. Dre, the three wealthiest hip-hop acts in the world – according to Forbes, they are worth a combined US$2 billion.

Zack will talk about how they changed the face of hip-hop and amassed so much wealth while doing so.

The event will take place on September 23, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the MEST Incubator in Accra, Ghana.
