Andela is accepting applications for its Student Ambassador Program

Andela has announced it is accepting applications for its Student Ambassador Program, a program aimed at engaging resourceful students to lead campaigns and events for Andela in their schools.

Through this campaigns and events, Andela aims to create awareness about what it is doing – find young, bright Africans, train them to be kickass devs and connect them with top (tech) companies in search of devs.

Andela’s vision is to train 100,000 world-class developers in the next 10 years.

These ambassadors will help preach the gospel of Andela in and around their universities and communities. As such, they must fully understand Andela’s Fellowship, its model of operation and ethos.

The ambassadors are expected to be leaders, crowd-pullers and have a penchant for getting things done, and must be passionate and enthusiastic about software development.

They’ll organize events on behalf of Andela on campus, act as Andela contacts on campus and help Andela understand the culture of their university.

If you’re currently a student (preferably 300 level) of any Nigerian university and possess strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, you can apply by October 26, 2016.

The program will last a year with ambassadors receiving benefits such as access to branded merchandise, Andela Bootcamp sessions, significant marketing experience and internship opportunities.
