Paris&Co prospects and provides support for foreign direct investments and promotes the international attractiveness of Paris abroad while MEST is in the business of incubating, training, mentoring & investing in aspiring African software entrepreneurs.
The mutually beneficial partnership will see the circulation of startups between the two organizations and also the sharing of information between both parties.
“For MEST and all of Africa, this is a wonderful opportunity to bridge the gap between continents, giving African entrepreneurs more opportunities to grow globally – deal with language barriers and overcome cultural differences,” said Celine Duros, Head of Partnerships at MEST.
The partnership was sealed through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) right in the presence of HE François Pujolas, the Ambassador of France to Ghana.
“This agreement, which is the first in our bilateral relations, shows the increasing role of France in global digitisation. In the case of Ghana, young entrepreneurs have been and will be invited to France in order to support innovation,” said the French Ambassador.
