Adobe Introduces Generative AI Tools Powered by its New Firefly 3 Model
The new Firefly 3 model is now available in beta on the Firefly web app, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
Adobe has introduced a set of generative AI tools powered by its new and improved Firefly Image 3 foundation model to its Photoshop creative software that would give users more control over the designs they generate.
These generative AI tools include Reference Image, Generate Background, Generate Similar, and Generate Image. According to Adobe, its new Firefly 3 model is capable of powering these tools to achieve remarkable results which would leave users highly impressed.
The company has also confirmed that with the Firefly 3 model, you can now get quality images that are photorealistic with better lighting, positioning, and more attention to detail, far surpassing what the previous versions (Firefly 2.0 and Firefly 1.0) could come up with.
Another interesting thing to note is that unlike the Firefly 2.0 model which can only be accessed on the Firefly web app, the Firefly 3 model can be accessed on the Firefly web app, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign, offering more options for users.
According to the company, Adobe Firefly has been used to generate over 6.5 billion images within the first 8 months since the Firefly beta was launched, making it the most popular AI image generation model designed for safe commercial use, in record time, globally.
