Around thirty healthtech startups in 14 African countries have received $50,000 grant each to increase access to health products from Investing in Innovation (i3), a pan-African initiative funded by industry leaders, donors, and African institutions.

Of the 30 selected startups, nearly 50% of are women-led, and 30% operate in Francophone Africa. They include: Chekkit Technologies, Medsaf, DrugStoc, Erith Health Services, Gricd, LifeBank, Lifestores Healthcare, OneHealth, ClinicPesa, The Pathology Network, and many others.

The grant will help empower and provide recognition for the health startups to deliver more innovative healthcare solutions, improve digital transformation in the healthcare sector and proffer solutions to the healthcare product distribution challenges plaguing several regions in Africa.
