Amid the Chinese government's assertive stance on managing the development of generative artificial intelligence services in the country, multiple AI apps have seen their services taken down from the Apple App Store in China.
Earlier this year China regulators released a draft of measures to regulate deep synthesis technologies and generative AI in the country. This regulation which is expected to come into effect on August 15 2023, aims to govern all aspects of generative AI content services, encompassing text, images, audio, and video.
