Vision Pro users may soon have an improved immersive experience as Apple has announced that it is working to integrate Apple Intelligence (AI) into the headset's AR interface (visionOS).

Apple believes that this could improve the general user experience and give more people reasons to purchase the headset. The software giant is also adding a new "Go Deeper" option to its in-store demos to provide a more comprehensive experience.

The new "Go Deeper" option will allow potential buyers to test features like office applications and video viewing and will allow them to have access to the default Dual Loop band that sends straps over the top and around the back of the wearer's heads instead of the single-strap Solo Loop band that many find uncomfortable.

Apple will also let Vision Pro users view personal videos and photos, including panoramas, within the headset soon. This will be further boosted with the upcoming visionOS 2 update and its "Spatialize" option, which can transform 2D photos into 3D experiences.

While these features are great, many people still believe that the Vision Pro headset is too pricey at $3500 per pop, although rumors have it that Apple is set to develop a more affordable headset primed for release by the end of next year.

There have also been conflicting reports about whether Apple could choose to either develop a lower-resolution display for a successor to the Vision Pro or turn its focus entirely on developing a more budget-friendly option.

Nonetheless, we expect Apple to find a way to incorporate these new features into the Vision Pro headset without it costing a fortune or to make it serve a niche market where users can afford the hefty price tag if it wants to attain market success with the headset.
