Apple is Planning to Release a Slimmer iPhone in 2025
Apple users might see their devices take on a new look as Apple is developing a slimmer version of the iPhone, which it plans to launch simultaneously with the iPhone 17 in 2025.
This comes after Apple launched its OLED iPad Pro with an M4 chip and its iPad Air with an M2 chip at its iPad event, which took place on May 7th.
Apple has confirmed that the thinner version will likely be pricier than the iPhone Pro Max, which currently starts at $1200 and could feature Apple's latest generation processor, the A19.
Right now, Apple is still testing different designs for the device, which means we could have an announcement from the tech giant later in the future about further updates regarding the product.

However, this new development signifies Apple's desire to shake up the iPhone and give it more to offer, especially with the increasing competition from other mobile tech giants such as Google with its new Pixel 8a, Huawei in China, and Samsung electronics globally.
Right now, Apple has five of the best-selling smartphones in the first quarter of this year, equally matched with Samsung, and seeing how competitive the tech giant is, we are sure that it does not want to lose its dominance anytime soon.
Also, we expect that this new design will be able to boost Apple's iPhone sales after it fell 10.5% to $45.96 billion for the fiscal second quarter of this year per data from Reuters. For now, it will remain in second place, just behind Samsung which made $52 billion from its smartphone sales in the first quarter of this year per data from CNBC.
