Arc Browser Is Now Available on Windows 10
Arc Browser offers a clean, efficient, and secure browsing experience tailored to your needs.
Arc, the free web browser from The Browser Company which originally launched for Windows 11 in April 2024 and has since expanded to iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, is now available on Windows 10, and it comes with some pretty neat features.
Arc comes with some integration features that make it stand out. The browser allows you to tweak the visual elements of any page or have built-in apps right in the sidebar. Additionally, Arc supports Chrome extensions straight from the Chrome Web Store.
The browser also enhances productivity through its Customizable Focus Mode feature. It also ensures privacy by not tracking your history, unlike traditional browser apps. Additionally, it boasts high performance with lower RAM and CPU usage and integrates a Spotlight-like search for smooth web navigation.
While it is available on Windows 10, it won’t run on Windows 10 build 1809. And you’ll need an Intel or AMD processor that supports the x86 BMI2 instruction set—basically, nothing older than Intel Haswell or AMD Athlon.
For iOS and iPadOS users, Arc uses Safari’s WebKit layout engine, although this might change for EU customers due to new regulations allowing third-party browsers with custom engines.
With this extension to Windows 10, Linux and Android users are expected to get access soon. To get started with the Arc experience for your Windows Browser, you can download it from the official website.
