Asoko Insights plans pan-African expansion with $3.6 million funding

Data analytics startup, Asoko Insights has raised $3.6 million Series A funding, as it plans to move into the next stage of its pan-African expansion.

The new funding is expected to help the company to deepen its product offering to compliance professionals, expand its African footprint and build on its technology to support scaling data collection, analysis, and delivery.

Asoko Insights, launched in 2014, provides superior data on many African companies, public and private, to help investors identify leads, research investment opportunities and monitor corporate developments.

The company operates market research centres in Accra, Lagos, Nairobi, Addis Ababa and Abidjan, where it collects and analyses company information through a variety of frontline data acquisition channels.
