A recent study conducted by Llorente and Cuenca revealed that Mexico is home to more than 1.9 million content creators, with an estimated market value of about USD $240 million.
Notably, the influence of these creators is undeniable, with 16% of Mexican internet users making purchases influenced by these creators. The South American country reportedly boasts over 670,000 influencers, ranking it third in Latin America after Brazil and Argentina.
Recognising the immense potential within this sector, Mexican influencer management platform Blind Creator has successfully secured MX $10 million (~ US$582,000) in a pre-seed funding round, to professionalize influencer marketing.
Catering to the need for effective methods of evaluating influencer marketing campaigns, Blind Creator offers a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that optimizes the relationship between brands, influencers, and their representatives. This comprehensive platform offers a Spanish-language CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solution, covering everything from initial planning to impact assessments and payment management.
The new capital will be used to accelerate the development of its technology and broaden its range of solutions. Notable investors, including Brian Requarth, co-founder of Latitud, and Alejandra Ríos, CEO of Ambrosía, both from the hit show Shark Tank, participated. Amador Holdings and Kuiper, alongside sixteen angel investors, also saw participation in the round.
Blind Creator will also be able to support the growth of more than 30,000 Spanish-speaking influencers, with the ambitious goal of achieving revenues exceeding US$5 million by the close of 2024.
