Startup funding in Asia slows down, amidst a global trend of venture capital pullback which saw startup funding in the region hit its lowest in 5 years since 2017, according to Crunchbase data.

Total funding for the year drop 39% compared to the record-setting year of 2021, from $177.2 billion in 2021 to $108 billion in 2022.
