Nvidia has once again outperformed Wall Street expectations, reporting third-quarter earnings that reflect the growing demand for its high-powered AI chips.
For the quarter ending October 29, Nvidia reported earnings per share (EPS) of $0.81 on revenue of $35.1 billion, beating analysts’ expectations of $0.74 EPS on $33.2 billion in revenue.
The company’s net income for the quarter also surged 109% to $19.3 billion, or $0.78 per diluted share, while operating expenses reached $4.3 billion.
Growth was led by its Data Center business, which saw revenue climb an impressive 112% year-over-year to $30.8 billion, as the Techloy chart below shows. This segment, fueled by AI-related sales, accounted for the bulk of Nvidia's revenue, outpacing analyst predictions of $29 billion.
