China-based hackathon organizer DoraHacks raises $20 million

DoraHacks, a China-headquartered Hackathon organizer has raised $20 million in its new funding round from FTX Ventures and Liberty Ventures among others.

  • The funds will be used to launch Dora Grant DAO, a decentralized grant community, and Dora Infinite Fund, a venture fund focused on non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
  • DoraHacks has organized hackathons for more than 200 Web3 startups and developer teams like Solana, Polygon, and Avalanche ecosystems among others.
  • It last raised $8 million in November 2021 in a round led by Binance Labs.
  • Other participants in the new round include Circle Ventures, Gemini Frontier Fund, Sky9 Capital, Crypto.com Capital and Amber Group.
