China is reportedly banning the use of iPhones and foreign devices in government agencies

In a rather assertive move geared towards safeguarding its national security interests, the Chinese government has instituted stringent regulations within its most sensitive sectors.

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, insiders familiar with the situation reveal that Chinese government agencies have now prohibited their staff from using foreign-branded devices, including Apple Inc.'s iPhones for work. Furthermore, the directive disallows them from bringing iPhones and similar foreign devices into the workplace.
