Ecobank's $50 thousand fintech challenge opens for applications

Ecobank, a pan-African bank that offers an annual fintech challenge has announced its applications for the 2022 Fintech Challenge (fifth term), to identify fintechs that are ready to scale, partner with them, and support them to access opportunities in its 33 African markets.

• Applications are welcome from fintechs on the African continent, with their products addressing customer experience, financial inclusion, credit scoring, ecosystem aggregation, internal tools, payments, and other solutions that will transform payments and banking in Africa.
• The selected finalists will participate in the Ecobank Fintech Challenge grand finale, with a cash prize of $50 thousand for the winner. All finalists will make it to the Ecobank Fintech Fellowship and access opportunities such as multinational product roll-out, service provider partnerships, product improvement, network partnership, and integration with Ecobank's digital offerings.
