Egyptian delivery startup Mylerz secures $9.6 million in funding

Mylerz, an Egypt-based e-commerce logistics startup has secured $9.6 million in funding from Lorax Capital Partners and Fawry to expand in Egypt and enter into three new markets in North Africa in the next three months.

  • The startup claims it will expand its services to Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco while Fawry, its partner will provide cash and electronic payments services in the new markets.
  • The startup targets growth in the East African marketplace and intends to be a pan-African shipping logistics business in the long run.
  • Mylerz is a tech-driven parcel delivery company using a 2-8 hours delivery model to shape e-commerce businesses.
