Google launches its new Agentspace for businesses
This 'workspace' will bring together several Google and non-Google AI tools like NotebookLM and Microsoft SharePoint in one place.

To properly break into this space, Google has launched Google Agentspace, its new AI-powered platform that it claims is designed to enhance productivity within enterprises. According to Google, Agentspace simplifies workflows by integrating AI agents that streamline operations, improve data search capabilities, and foster better collaboration across teams.

At its core, Google Agentspace is meant to provide a suite of AI-driven tools that allow employees to perform tasks like searching for information, generating content, and automating routine processes—all through a single prompt. These AI agents would then function as virtual assistants, enabling workers to access insights and take action without switching between multiple tools.
For instance, employees can upload documents, synthesize information, and interact with data in real-time, all while maintaining the high-security standards required for enterprise environments.
One standout feature of Google Agentspace is the Unified Multimodal Search Agent, which integrates with popular platforms like Google Drive and Microsoft SharePoint. This integration would allow seamless access to both structured and unstructured data, providing employees with the right information when needed. With its AI-powered multilingual capabilities, this feature also helps remove language barriers, making global collaboration more effective.
In addition to simplifying data access, Google Agentspace would automate repetitive tasks. For example, it can automate report generation or content creation, allowing employees to focus on more strategic work.
