Elon Musk's artificial intelligence startup xAI is launching its Grok-1.5 chatbot on š¯•¸ next week
The company says that its latest AI model is capable of long-context understanding and advanced reasoning.
Grok-1.5, the enhanced version of its chatbot Grok, will be available to early testers and existing Grok users on š¯•¸ next week, according to Elon Musk's AI startup xAI in a statement.
The company says that its latest AI model is capable of long-context understanding and advanced reasoning, boasting huge improvements in its performance in coding and math-related tasks from Grok-1, although below Gemini Pro 1.5 and GPT-4, based on a benchmark analysis by xAI.
But Musk believes that the next model, Grok 2 should exceed current AI on all metrics, although he didn't say when to expect it, but hinted at it being "in training".
Earlier this month, Musk said xAI would open-source Grok after it sued Microsoft-backed OpenAI for allegedly abandoning its original mission in favour of a for-profit model.
