Like other music streaming platforms, Apple Music allows users to create and add their favourite songs to a playlist.

This feature not only allows easy access to music but also helps you organize your beats and sounds according to your preferences.

If you haven't started using this feature on your smartphone or don't know how this guide will teach you steps to create and add music to your playlist.

Steps to Create a Playlist on Apple Music

Step 1. Open the Apple Music App

Launch the Apple Music app on your smartphone. Ensure you're signed in with your Apple ID.

Step 2. Go to Your Library

At the bottom of the screen, tap the "Library "tab. This will take you to your personal collection of music.

Step 3. Access Playlists

Within your library, tap "Playlists". Then, tap "New Playlist" at the top to start a new playlist.

Step 4. Name Your Playlist

Enter a name for your playlist and add a description to give some context, like "Workout Mix" or "Relaxing Vibes. Then tap "Create". After that, tap "Add Music" to start curating your songs.

Step 5. Add Songs to Your Playlist

You’ll be directed to a screen where you can search for songs or browse through your library. Tap on the songs you want to include in the playlist. You can add individual songs or entire albums.

Step 6. Save Your Playlist

After selecting your songs, tap Done (or the checkmark icon) to save your playlist. Your new playlist will now be available in your library's "Playlists" section.

Conclusion

With these simple steps, you can add new songs to existing playlists anytime. When you come across a new favourite track, tap and hold it, then select Add to Playlist and choose your playlist.

Easy right? Let me know your views on this feature in the comments.
