TikTok launches new passkey support for iOS devices

iPhone users can look forward to a more secure and user-friendly login experience on their TikTok apps as the popular social media platform has introduced support for passkeys on iOS, joining the likes of Google, Microsoft, and PayPal that have implemented the passkey support in their apps.

Passkeys serve as secure password replacements, utilizing encrypted biometric authentication methods already available on the device.

With the introduction of passkeys, iOS users can now utilize Touch ID or Face ID to sign into their TikTok account instead of entering passwords. Users will be able to use the passkeys directly from their iCloud account to log in across devices.
