Indian agritech startup Vegrow raises $25 million in funding
Agritech startup based in India, Vegrow, has raised $25 million in its Series B financing led by Prosus Ventures.
- The fund will be invested in increasing its talent base, improving its technology stack, supporting its growth, and expanding its presence in other boundaries.
- Founded in 2020, Vegrow uses its tech stack and data to support the demand and supply, aggregation, and sales of fruits in India.
- The B2B startup has grown 15x in the last year, with about a 15% gross margin and a $200 million expected AGV by the FY-end.
- It last raised $13 million in its Series A round co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Elevation Capital who also participated in the new round.
