Indian startup Battery Smart secures $25 million in new funding

Battery Smart, an India-based electric vehicle (EV) battery swapping startup has secured $25 million in its Series A funding round led by Tiger Global.

• The fund would be invested in building out its stack of technology, advancing its team, and entering new geographies, it claims.
• Battery Smart is a battery swapping network for electric vehicles for two and three-wheelers.
• The startup last raised $7 million from Blume Ventures, Orios Ventures, and others in November 2021.
• Blume Ventures and Orios Ventures invested in the new round.
