Indian blockchain startup 5ire raises $100 million, becomes unicorn
5ire, an India-based and London-headquartered blockchain offering startup, has raised $100 million in its new funding round from SRAM & MRAM Group based in the UK, at a $1.5 billion valuation and is now unicorn.
- The fund will be used to increase its team of 100 employees and advance its technology stack, the startup claims.
- Founded last year August, 5ire provides sustainability in blockchain including no-code smart contracts, interoperable asset sending, domain-hosted decentralized users wallets, and carbon-free processes.
- It last raised $21 million in seed funding in October last year from Marshland Capital, Launchpool Labs, Moonrock Capital, and others.
